Why we print on cotton (and why quality is king)

Not all blank tees are created equal.

When it comes to custom printed t-shirts in South Africa, fabric matters just as much as the design.

Our Classic T-Shirt is 165gsm combed 100% cotton with a bio wash finish.

That combination gives you:

  • Softer feel against the skin
  • Better ink absorption for DTF and DTG printing
  • Improved colour vibrancy
  • Reduced pilling
  • Longer garment lifespan

DTF printing in South Africa is versatile and works on many fabric types — including polyester and blends. But DTG printing performs best on cotton.

We choose 100% cotton where we can because:

  • It holds detail better
  • It feels better
  • It lasts longer

Our hoodies and crew neck sweaters use 240gsm brushed fleece, giving structure and warmth without excessive bulk.

We don’t source the cheapest shirts available.

We print exclusively on quality apparel because consistency matters. Weight, weave, stitching and finish all impact the final print quality.

Cheap fabric warps.
Thin cotton twists.
Low-grade fleece pills.
